About the event

PYGMALION

Written by George Bernard Shaw | Adapted by Tre Zijuan Tyler

Directed by Tre Tyler

Before there was My Fair Lady... before every makeover movie you've ever watched... there was PYGMALION. What happens when a rough-around-the-edges New Orleans girl gets swept into high society and told she can become someone entirely new?

Set in the American South with all the wit, charm, and sharp social commentary of George Bernard Shaw's classic, Pygmalion explores a question that's just as relevant today as it was in 1913:

Are we defined by where we come from—or by who we choose to become?
