Exploring the History and Impact of THE PARAMOUNT on Film Row in Oklahoma City
Now that the lease has been signed, we are proud and grateful to announce that we have found our new studio home within The Paramount building. Located within the West Village on Film Row, the Paramount has a rich history and provides exciting possibilities for the future of our business.

Film Meets Theatre
One of the original locations of Paramount Pictures film distribution offices, the Paramount helped give birth to Film Row. Reels of film were once stored within the building throughout the1920s through the 50s. Today, it houses Rodeo Cinema, Peret's Coffee & Dessert Bar, and The Study. With fantastic neighbors such as OK Cider Co., Sweet Yield Dance, the Myriad Gardens, and so much more -- there is always something to do. However, there are limited opportunities for the arts & culture in our community. We're excited to change that.
Storytelling is the ancestral form of modern day arts. For the last 100 years, many people believe that theatre is dead; movies are the way of the future. We don't believe so. Theatre is the foundation of--and for-- film. To not recognize the beginning stages of both art forms, and their lasting impact, is foolish. We believe in blending both concepts of film and classic theatre; it's why our shows focus on the truth-telling intimacy only found on the silver screen, but immerse audiences into the story, physically, in a way only theatre can.
We can't think of a better space to house our beliefs. Our studio will continue to grow and cultivate the actor base within Oklahoma, so you can grow into the artist that you've always wanted to be. Our studio within the Paramount will honor its cinematic roots with after-school film club opportunities, exciting workshops, and more class offerings beginning with ages 2 to 4. All while remaining financially accessible.
The studio is in need of significant cosmetic renovations. We will undergo these improvements over the next 3 to 4 months, so we can welcome students this summer. The space will house two studio classrooms, a private coaching space, and a mini library for all studio students to access books. There is private lounge space directly outside with soon-to-be ADA accessible bathrooms, or you can jump downstairs to Peret's, the Study, or OK Cider Co. to unwind while your kiddo is in class (or after that incredibly stressful audition).
Our hope is this space will be just as much of a home to you as it is to us. It's one that will foster relationships as well as inspire you to keep chasing your dreams. We are so excited to share this next journey with you. Thanks for being a part of it.
