10:30am to 11:30am: A RIBSY READING- A "Henry & Ramona" beginners-audition focused workshop
Students ages 5 to 10 will be begging to stay for our Ribsy Reading workshop! Join "Ribsy" and his pals from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs as they ease your performer's anxiety about auditions. We will read material from our summer production of HENRY & RAMONA, learn top tips for auditioning, and then students will connect their knowledge to the pups through mock audition! We hope this will be a fun environment for students to break the ice on a situation that can often evoke fear and anxiety.

11:45am to 12:45am : WORDS with WINN-DIXIE- a beginner to intermediate monologue-focused workshop
Students ages 11 to 16 will approach monologues with a team of Winn-Dixies! Monologues, cold reads and auditions, in general, can produce overwhelm and anxiety. With the help of our friends at the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, we will dissect and reconstruct monologues, study the text, and divulge tips for best performing monologues -- with the dogs being our friendly audience. All material will come from our summer production of Because of Winn-Dixie. We hope this will be a fun environment for students to break the ice on a situation that often evokes fear.

1:00pm to 2:00pm: Free Headshot Sessions (FULL) | ADDED TIME: 3:00pm to 4:00pm
We all need headshots for auditions and that phone selfie is not going to cut it. Feel fabulous, and look professional, as you receive 3 new and edited headshots to take with you to auditions. All ages are encouraged to sign up! Photos will be received two weeks after the event by digital file and photo release.

2:00pm to 3:30pm: Slap Me Silly - a beginner's stage combat workshop w/ Peter Fischaber
(adults only)
Join Peter for an afternoon session of stage combat! In this introductory workshop, we will safely explore basic falls, shoves, and slaps for the stage through instruction then compiling everything together with choreography.
Peter Fischaber is an Advanced Actor-Combatant by the Society of American Fight Directors, with an additional certificate in Theatrical Firearms Safety. He has provided fight choreography and training for 20 stage plays - from Shakespearean classics to modern musicals.
